Ivan Steenkamp
Ivan Steenkamp is a South African academic and professional with deep experience in strategic and business management, organisational development, and project leadership. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration at UNICAF University, Zambia, with a focus on governance frameworks for social enterprises in South Africa.
Ivan holds a Master of Business Leadership from UNISA (2017) and a BTech in Project Management from the Central University of Technology. He serves as CEO and Senior Consultant at Evers Xcellence Management Consulting, advising on change management, HR, finance, and restructuring.
Ivan has lectured part-time in marketing, sales, and strategic management. His research interests span social enterprise ecosystems, solidarity economy, and the circular economy. His publications include: "Ecosystems of Social Enterprises" and "Employment Equity Act in South Africa: 1998–2022".
With past leadership at the Department of Transport, Safety and Liaison, Ivan continues to contribute to transformative policy, governance innovation, and inclusive economic development.
